Hato Poppo — Museum Nacht at Mediamatic, November‘22

A project together with Asuka Kondo & Emma Huffman

Hato is Japanese for Pigeon. And Poppo is Japanese for coo. Artists Emma Huffman, Mily Bogaart and Asuka Kondo have designed this origami pattern exclusively for the Mediamatic pigeons. You can't coo with without a beak. Mediamatic invites you to transform yourself, by folding, into the center of the evening, the pigeon. Using traditional origami techniques you will fold your own beak which you will be wearing for the rest of the night, because no beak means no entrance to Mediamatic!

Hato Poppo
Learn about the subtle art of origami and fold your own pigeon beak. You will need it - Mediamatic is only open for pigeons during Museum Night. Artists Emma Huffman, Mily Bogaarts and Asuka Kondo designed this origami pattern especially for the pigeons at Mediamatic.
